 Abstract:  William McVey was a Cleveland, Ohio, sculptor particularly well-known for his heroic reliefs and doors. McVey taught at the Cleveland Institute of Art and many of his publicly owned pieces are located in Cleveland, as well as across the United States. The collection consists of letters, reports, and sketches of McVey's art work, with a small amount of material on his army career during World War II.
